Lindsay Baker

Lindsay Baker has been coached by David Gore since 2012, where she developed into a competitive tournament player as a junior and continues to play competitively in Open tournaments. At 16 years old, Lindsay was appointed as the Girls’ Captain for the Queensland Secondary School Sports Tennis team and was recently elected as Secretary of the QUT Tennis Club, where she is currently undertaking studies for a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film, TV and Media).

Lindsay first entered into coaching with Baseline Tennis Coaching in 2019 in a volunteer capacity while completing the Service component of her Duke of Edinburgh Award. Shesubsequently joined the Baseline Tennis Coaching team as a casual employee. She holds qualifications as a Community Tennis Coach and has graduated from the Tennis Queensland Future Leaders program, which aimed to improve opportunities for girls to engage in tennis programs.

In addition to her work with Baseline Tennis Coaching, Lindsay has casual employment with her former school, Loreto College, as a tennis coach during the CaSSSA tennis season.
